Editorial standards

A clear reason behind every recommendation.

AITaskMatch helps you discover, compare, and choose software for a real task. We distinguish product research from hands-on testing, and show what is known, what needs checking, and where a tool may not be the right fit.

Research is not the same as testing

Product overviews draw on dated research briefs. Newly imported details are labeled unverified until they are checked against current provider information. A brief date is not a claim that we tested the product that day. Facts without a source remain unstated.

Ratings must be earned

An editorial score or category winner requires a documented, like-for-like evaluation. Until that exists, comparisons present the available facts without assigning a winner. We do not present sample scores, invented user reviews, or unsupported testing badges.

Pricing needs context

We distinguish a permanent free plan from a trial, a monthly subscription from an annual-billing equivalent, and custom pricing from an unknown price. Plans and usage limits can change: always confirm the provider’s current terms before purchasing.

Commercial relationships stay separate

Catalog browsing is alphabetical, and alternatives are organized by shared category and use case. Affiliate partnerships never influence a score, a ranking, or a “best” recommendation.

We’re building this catalog carefully. Some tools still show identity and category information only; their detailed research is pending.
